Anne Bayefsky is a legal scholar, author and human rights activist specializing in international law, United Nations human rights systems, and antisemitism. She is a professor and director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust, and president of the NGO Human Rights Voices. Bayefsky has taught at York University, the University of Ottawa, and Columbia University Law School. She holds degrees from the University of Toronto and Oxford University and has written or edited books on human rights, international law, and the UN.
