Alan Dershowitz, Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law, Emeritus at Harvard University, is an American lawyer, legal scholar, author, and public commentator reknowned for his work in criminal law, constitutional law, and civil liberties. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College and a law degree from Yale Law School before clerking for Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg and joining the Harvard Law School faculty as the youngest professor in Harvard’s history to receive tenure. He has written more than 30 books, including The Case for Israel and Taking the Stand: My Life in the Law. He has long been and remains an influential voice on law, politics, and civil liberties in the United States.
